We are less than 2 months away from our 2017 Farmers Market season! We always begin the first Saturday in May, so this year the start date is May 6. Last year we updated our spring/fall hours, and here is a reminder of those hours:
May 6-May 27: 9am-1pm
June 3-September 16: 8am-1pm
September 23-October 14: 9am-1pm
We look forward to having our great regulars back again this year, as well as meeting new vendors! Please see our vendor page to learn more about becoming a vendor. The basics are just filling out the form and getting it to us with the necessary documents and payment. The day of the Market, we do accept this information as well, we just ask ALL vendors to be set up and ready to go 15 minutes before the Market opens for the day and to remain set up for the duration. The primary concern behind this is the safety of our visitors and patrons. We just cannot have vehicles driving through the Market while we have people shopping. We will turn away vendors who arrive late. Our goal is to make sure we have an enjoyable and safe Market for everyone involved.
We are also in the process of planning our special Kids Day events for this year, so stay tuned for those details! If you are a vendor and are interested in running a Kids Day event, please email us!
We have a new staff member this year as Derek went on to bigger things! Phil Sattler will take on the role as Market Manager. We wish Derek all the best in his new adventures and are excited to have Phil on board!
Be sure to visit our Byron Center Farmers Market Facebook page for pictures, posts and updates. While you’re there, feel free to share your pictures from the market with us, we’d love to see them!
Thank you to everyone who makes this Market great each year! We truly couldn’t do this without you! We think this year will be even better than the last. See you in May!
