All vendors will need to fill out a 2018 agreement/waiver of liability. These are still being prepared and should be ready in the next couple weeks. You may sign up now and sign the form your first day of set up. However form will also be placed here as soon as available.
The Byron Community Wellness Foundation has an exciting change in store for the 2018 Byron Center Farmers Market, and we wanted you to be the first to know! We are pleased to announce that after much thought and consideration, we will be relocating the BC Farmers Market to Tanger Outlets.
We have enjoyed holding the market it at Pathway Church in the past, but we have also seen a decline in both vendors and customers due to poor visibility. We have been working with Tanger to provide you with a better space that is visible to more customers. The Farmers Market will still be held Saturday mornings from 9am – 2pm which is a great time as many shoppers will be there. It will still be run by the Byron Community Wellness Foundation and Phil Sattler will remain on as the market manager. I have attached a map of Tanger below which shows you exactly where the market will be located.
Also, you are no longer required to have a million dollar insurance policy. However, you will be required to sign a waiver when you register/sign up sometime before your first set up.
If you have any questions, please contact Phil Sattler at firstname.lastname@example.org, Heather Humphrey at email@example.com or call us at 878-6029.
Vendor registration forms are now uploaded and available. Click on Farm & Craft Vendor Info to download this year’s forms.
We had a great time welcoming fall to Byron Center by decorating pumpkins at the farmers market! Kids had a great time picking out their own pumpkins and coming up with different designs to make their pumpkins unique. Families also had a great day enjoying the weather and shopping for fall produce from our local farmers. A huge thank you Goen’s produce for donating the pumpkins for the community!
Vendors, we want to hear from you! We want the market to be a great place for the whole community to gather, and that includes you. You are extremely important to us and we sincerely care how you feel. We have created a short survey to help give us an idea on some of your thoughts about the market. If there is anything further you’d like to add, you can reach out to your market manager, Phil Sattler at firstname.lastname@example.org or the BCWF Executive Director, Heather Humphrey at email@example.com
